This agreement is between Donovan Vaughan, operating as Dark Reveal Photography, and the individual named above (“Participant”), regarding participation in the Ink & Story photography and video project.

1. Project Description

Ink & Story is a passion project that includes black-and-white photographic portraits and informal video interviews featuring women aged 40+ with visible tattoos. The project explores the personal stories behind the tattoos, aiming to celebrate individuality, identity, and empowerment.

Photos and interviews will be used for:

• An in-person gallery-style exhibition

• An online platform hosted by Dark Reveal Photography

• Social media, promotional materials, and behind-the-scenes content

2. Participant Agreement

By signing this document, Participant agrees to:

• Participate in a portrait photography session

• Participate in an informal video interview about their tattoos

• Allow the photographer to choose the final images and interview clips used in the project

• Grant permission for their likeness and voice to be used across all platforms related to the project

• Acknowledge and agree that if the photographer feels additional photos are needed to complete the vision of the project, they may be requested to return to the studio for another session

• Understand that prints from the exhibition will be available for purchase at the Ink & Story gallery revealing event for $40 per print. (This is to cover the cost of the print).

3. Image Use & Rights

Participant grants Donovan Vaughan and Dark Reveal Photography the unrestricted, perpetual, and worldwide right to use, display, publish, reproduce, and distribute the photographs and video recordings taken as part of this project. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Art exhibitions (physical or virtual)

• Websites and social media platforms

• Printed materials

• Promotional content (paid or unpaid)

Participant understands these materials will be publicly accessible and may be used in the future for continued promotion of the Ink & Story project or Dark Reveal Photography.

4. Compensation

In exchange for participation, Participant will receive:

• 5 web-resolution digital images from the portrait session

• No financial compensation beyond the images described above

5. Ownership and Copyright

All photographs and video content created during this project remain the sole intellectual property of Donovan Vaughan / Dark Reveal Photography. Participant may share the web-resolution images provided for personal, non-commercial use, with credit to the photographer.

6. Model Consent and Release

I affirm that I am over 18 years of age and am voluntarily participating in this project. I understand and agree to the terms outlined above. I release Donovan Vaughan and Dark Reveal Photography from any liability that may arise from the use of the photographs or interviews in lawful contexts as described.
